The president of the National Milk Producers Federation challenged comments from Canada's foreign minister about free trade and dairy supply management as renegotiations begin Wednesday on the North American Free Trade Agreement.
December corn was unchanged, November soybeans were 2 cents higher, and December Chicago (SRW) wheat was 3 cents higher.
Expect cattle complex futures to open moderately higher, supported by follow-through buying and short covering. Along similar lines, lean hog contracts should also extend Tuesday's rally in the early round.
